Founders
Varis Gallery is owned and operated by artists Kevin and Elizabeth Denton. It showcases Kevin’s stunning landscape photography and Elizabeth’s thought-provoking ceramic sculptures, while also hosting occasional exhibitions by local guest artists. The gallery’s primary mediums are ceramic sculpture and photography.
Kevin Denton has been passionate about photography since his teen years, capturing awe-inspiring landscapes of their beautiful town and the places he’s traveled. His images reveal the majesty and serenity of nature, offering viewers a moment of stillness and wonder.
Elizabeth Denton’s ceramic sculptures are deeply influenced by her love of magic, nature, and the hidden layers of life. Her work is a reflection of her intuition, dreams, and energetic connection to the world. Creating has been an integral part of her life for as long as she can remember, and her sculptures invite viewers to explore their own sense of mystery and meaning.

Elizabeth Denton
Elizabeth Denton, a versatile multimedium artist, integrates astrology, feng shui, and personal experiences into her profound creations, which emanate from her thoughts, dreams, and intuitive force.
Her art, cherished both privately and publicly, reflects her deep connection with creativity, occasionally offered for sale during specific periods, mirroring the natural rhythm of her inspiration.
For Elizabeth, art is not just a pursuit but a sacred expression of her life journey, inviting others to glimpse into her soul through each brushstroke and clay molding.
Kevin Denton
Kevin Denton is a Photographer from Northern California and has resided in Beautiful Benicia for the last 20 years. Kevin’s passion for photography began since his high school years with a Pentax K-1000 film camera and his love of nature.
Kevin is married to his wife Elizabeth who also shares the same love for photography and travel. Their last trip was in the Fall of 2018 where they explored the untouched landscapes of Iceland.
Kevin also hosts a local Benicia photography meet up group where photo enthusiasts can explore, share ideas, and capture beautiful images of our community and the surrounding areas.
