A Creative Celebration of the Year of the Snake
 
Please join us from 5-7pm on January31st for the opening reception of Year Of The Snake, a vibrant art show featuring the ceramic work of Elizabeth Denton and the photography work of Jennifer Lothrigel.  This collaborative show is a celebration of the offerings that the 2025 Wood Snake brings to help us on our journeys; including, new beginnings, rebirth, transformation and creativity.

● Intriguing Artworks: Explore Denton’s tactile ceramic creations and Lothrigel’s evocative photographic visions, each offering a unique perspective on the Year of the Snake.

Today, I came into the gallery to do a little sprucing up and was greeted with a beautiful surprise—someone left an offering for the Crow Guardian. This gesture touched me deeply. In times like these, we all need signs that our world and all its inhabitants are being nurtured and protected. ✨ Just in! ✨ Thrilled to announce that our gallery is now home to these stunning ceramic heart sculptures, brought all the way from Bilbao, Spain, to Benicia! Before heading there, I had a little wish to connect with an artist whose work would feel at home here—and I found that in Maya, a talented ceramic sculptor who creates each piece with love and intention. These hearts are made slowly, using glazes crafted from ingredients sourced directly from Bilbao’s soil, making them truly unique and rooted in their origin.
